Loneliness creeps in

Gradually the reality of her situation starts sinking in. Her husband is in jail and she doesn't know when he'll be coming home to see her. He is definitely not coming home for the Christmas celebration as he promised and it hurts so much. He even promised bringing her to Canada,in case he can't come back home, where he'll then come over and stay with her just to make sure they celebrate the christmas together but with this present problem,all these seem to be gone with the winds.
Long distance relationship is difficult enough and these visits are the only things that make it bearable but now,it seems the worst is about to happen. How long is it going to be before she's united with her man? She has absolutely no idea.

Beauty turned to her people for consolation. Luckily for her,her sisters are on semester break and they all came to stay with her. They made sure she never stayed alone to avoid thinking about her situation. They took care of her and pampered her like a baby avoiding anything that could possibly upset her. Jamie kept on calling her daily to know how she is and how she's coping with the pregnancy. Now he can only call her once a day. Calling her twice a day as he earlier thought will only exhaust his monthly call mins before the month runs out so he has to be discreet. He called her another day wanting to know if the cash he left her before traveling is still remaining and she answered affirmatively. He promised her everything will be fine. Two months has passed since she found out she was pregnant and she has registered for anti-natal visits at the hospital. Then Beauty left with her siblings for her parents' house where she plans spending the christmas and new year celebrations contrary to the initial plans. What can she do? Events she cannot control has shattered her plans. 

When they got to her parents house,her mom was there to welcome her. She consoled and advised Beauty to be patient and believe that God will take care of everything. Beauty then informed her mom of her pregnancy and that gave her a little joy in this moment of sorrow.Later her dad came back and gave her his own piece of advise. He told her he has always known her to be a woman with a manly inner strength and strong mind and that he wants her to be strong. She is strong indeed. She has made up to mind to be strong and expect the worst. After the new year,she traveled to go see her mother-in-law and spend some time with her. Her husband's siblings have decided not to inform their mom for fear her heart may not bear the pains. Jamie is quite close to his mom. Not that he's a momma's boy but his mom loves and appreciates him dearly. He has always been an independent hardworking young man who never lived recklessly like men his age and that endeared him to his mom. His siblings love him too because of this same personality and also because he never let any of them lack. He makes sure he takes care of everyone around him. After spending few days with her mother-in-law,Beauty went back to her house. She was accompanied by her little brother and her youngest sister.  On getting back to her home,She decided to go for a pregnancy ultrasound. She got ready and drove to the nearest Radiology office. She requested for a scan,paid and was taken to the ultrasound room. The Ultrasonographer came and started carrying out the ultrasound. Suddenly his eyes widen and a smile appeared on his face.
